How to Kill Depression Before It Kills You

If you're like the thousands of people who are suffering from depression and anxiety, you want to know how to kill depression before it kills you. Most people who are diagnosed with these conditions are prescribed antidepressants. However, antidepressants have a multitude of side effects. Some people also experience severe withdrawal symptoms when they stop taking them.

Antidepressants can be very expensive, and they come with a laundry list of awful side effects. They include weight gain, sexual dysfunction, changes in appetite, insomnia, suicidal thoughts, nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, fatigue, and changes in brain chemistry. If you've been prescribed one or are thinking about taking one, you might want to think again. There are other ways to deal with depression.

I'll be honest - I don't know how to kill depression before it kills you. I don't know what works and what doesn't. And I'm sure there are still lots of experts out there that are studying this condition and trying to come up with a constant formula for treating it. But what works for one person may not work for another. Everyone's different!

The best way to figure out how to kill depression before it kills you is by trying to figure out what does and doesn't work for others. This is actually a lot easier than you might think. All you have to do is open your mind, look for clues, and then you'll have an idea of what might help you.

First of all, you'll need to change your thinking. Think about everything positively - only think about the good things, and think about everything positively again. It might sound silly, but believe me - it really does help.

I think about this a lot myself when I'm depressed. I used to think about all my friends and family being happy or living their lives happily... until I was depressed. Then I used to think about all the bad things that could happen in their lives, or how bad their problems would be if they ever suffered from depression.

So I changed my thinking to think more positively. I thought about all the great people that didn't suffer from depression, instead, they were happy and living their lives happily. I also thought about how miserable and sick people with depression must feel... so I started to think less about negative thoughts, and more about positive thoughts. This made a huge difference to my mood and my ability to stay in control.

It worked, it really does work. And now you know three ways on how to kill depression before it kills you. Use one, two, or all of them, it doesn't matter which one of them you use, just that you're taking control of your life and making a difference.

The first thing I changed was my diet. When you eat a lot of sugar and processed foods, your body becomes addicted to them. Now I don't mean to sound like diets, but when you eat these types of food for a long period of time, your brain starts to think that it needs them. And when it no longer has them, it stops producing them, which results in your brain being like, "I have to have those sugary junk foods!"

So what I did was replace those foods with organic fruit and vegetables. I used to buy my lunch at work, and I would bring home leftovers from there. Sometimes I even brought potato chips. But I always made sure to get enough fruits and vegetables into my diet every day.

The second thing I changed was my workout routine. I started walking everywhere on a daily basis. Not only did this help me burn a lot more calories, but it also helped me relax a bit. That is the key to killing depression before it kills you.

The final thing I did to kill depression before it kills you is sleep. I still get up and walk around, but I rest at night and I try to get as much as five hours of sleep each night. My brain is still working, but it doesn't feel tired. This allows my mind to rest as well, which helps me think clearly. So those are the three things I do to keep depression away.
